What are dental veneers?
Dental veneers are a popular method of restoring teeth that may be crooked, discolored, chipped or stained. A mold of porcelain veneer is bonded to your real teeth using a strong, safe adhesive, and essentially becomes a part of the teeth.

How does treatment using dental veneers work?
At your first consultation at Luxury Dentistry, Dr. Davidowitz will sit down with you to discuss and design the smile you desire. The doctors will take molds and photos of your teeth. Using state of the art computer technology they will then create a simulation of your new smile, providing you with a slide show as well as “before and after” still photos, all within hours of your first visit.

At your second visit, Dr. Davidowitz will prepare your teeth to accommodate the veneers. While your permanent porcelain veneers are being crafted in a dental laboratory, you will receive temporary veneers that match your smile simulation. The temporary veneers will allow you to try out your new smile and make any fine tweaks to it before the veneers are permanently placed.

Your third visit to Luxury Dentistry will result in your smile transformation, in which your new porcelain dental veneers will be bonded to your teeth using a strong but safe adhesive.

How long will dental veneers last?
Veneers can last anywhere between 5 and 10 years before they would need to be replaced.

Lumineers are a newer type of veneers that provide more flexibility to custom design your smile. Extremely thin, lumineers average about 0.3mm in thickness, while more standard veneers are about 1mm thick.

What are the benefits of lumineers over traditional veneers?
Unlike traditional veneers, lumineers are ultra thin and can be completed without any injections and with little to no reduction of the tooth structure. Treatment using lumineers also takes less time, requiring only two simple visits to create a beautiful smile. However, lumineers are not for everyone.
